I have an entire 2 weeks ahead of you on the twitter bandwagon. It took a while but I have to say me like it. I follow a ton of writers...not the really big ones the ones that are just like me starting out with one maybe a handful of books published. It is a friendly community. The # are like tags, in your blogs. They are searchable phrases or words. You can click on them as they pop and see what everyone is saying with those key words. It is kind of fun. They are pretty powerful when you use the right ones...but that is like a treasure search and I have no map. It is a rumor that the right # remark could land you a viral success in life. Good luck. Follow me at Chubbybunnysink and I will do the same for you. :)
Oh Donna, I've been on Twitter for six months or so, and I have to say it's pretty cool. The hashtags are ways of tagging conversations. Or being snarky. :) Enjoy and welcome to the party! I'm @KristineAsselin
Yay! Welcome to Twitter. Don't be afraid to follow people and jump in and say hello!
I started a few months ago and I'm still not terribly excited by it, but I did have my first ever group conversation using the hashtags (#) and it was fun, though overwhelming.
I haven't made the twitter leap yet and don't have any desire to do so even though many people recommend it. Maybe someday. Are you still blogging?LeeTossing It Out
