Hugs

Who doesn't like a hug? It's warm, reassuring, offers comfort, and gives you that "ahhhh" feeling.

Some students at Clemson University here in South Carolina posted a video on YouTube that began as a Advertising Class project, but quickly turned into a "hug challenge". They went out and hugged random strangers, but in the process learned that the simple touch and human interaction were well rewarding.

If anyone is interested, here's the article

I just found it interesting watching the strangers faces lighting up with great big smiles toward these students and thought I'd share.

  1. I've learned to be a hugger. They like to hug a lot at our church.

  2. Everyone needs to be love and be loved, which involves hugging. People who deny this are truly lonely individuals.

  3. I don't know if it is a related project but last thanksgiving in NYC there was some people doing it and I joined them it was an awesome experience. I recommend everyone hug a stranger. It helps to carry a big "free hugs" sign though!
